Rocking My Business!

Y'all I never in my life though I would be sitting here right now telling you. How I am totally rocking my business. I never thought when I started this journey on February 1st, 2017. That I would be rocking my business in the ways that I have been rocking it.

I have been so blessed to have accomplished the things that I have thus far. I know , I know everyone says they are rocking their business these days. However lets fact it when we all say it, it means different things to different people.

For me Rocking my business means I have done so very well that I am actually proud of myself.
My husband is so proud of me and my business, he even refers to it as my job and my business. ( you have no idea how happy I am to be able to say that ) I never in my life thought he would say that to me.

Right before joining beach body I told my husband that I was going to join beach body as a coach. His words to me was " It will count as a real job when you make $30,000 a year. " I was honestly heart broken and angry to hear him say that. Asif anyone who makes less that that doesn't even really work in his eyes.

Yet here I am saying he is here right now saying the change is so real! My husband fully supports my business and supports it 100%.

No, I have not made $30,000 this year by far. Let me break down how much I have made and why my husband is fully supportive of this business.

Week One: I made $8.74 that's it! Not even enough to hit the $10 amount you need to make in order to get a check from beachbody. I worked less than an hour that whole week.

Week Two: $0.00 Yes, you read that correctly I didn't even make not one cent in my second week in business. I did not work at all that week due to honestly being lazy.

Week Three: $0.00 Yes that's right a second week of making nothing at all but that was okay with me since I knew I was focused on learning. I worked maybe half an hour that whole week.

Week Four: This was it! My first really good week and let me just tell you that I was not expecting it at all! I had not one but TWO people out of the blue signed up under me as coaches. They also bought challenge packages and I made $140. In a matter of 2 hours I made $140 and that was pretty much all I really worked the whole week. I know I should have been working more however I had a lot going on.

What did I do differently in my 4th week than I had been doing in the other weeks. Well that is simple I actually worked my business. I started doing the things that I was told to do and had been learning all about doing. Did I do it all full on , well no of course not. I was business and I didn't do what I should have been doing fully.

However from that week on I have been doing my power hour, and let me just tell you the power of 3's are AMAZING!

I changed my life in that 4th week. I decided to start making time each and every day for my business. To set working hours and to start doing things the way the others on my team have been doing the whole time. There is a reason that all of the amazing females above me in my up line are making the money they are. They are changing lives each and every day and it's following their lead that has changed my business for the better.

I am not making the money that I want to be making at this point but so far I have.

* Became a  EMERALD coach!

* Earned one of the best calls of my life, with the CEO and Co- Founder of Beach Body.
CARL DAIKELER himself and let me just tell y'all this was an awesome call and I learned so very much.

* I have been recognized for my success with in this company. Unlike other companies Beach Body is all about giving their coaches everything they need to be successful and they are their to celebrate with you.

I don't know where my business will take me but I know I can not wait to share this journey with everyone.

Success is Possible with Beach Body! All of these amazing things have happened in one week! I haven't even been a beachbody coach for 30 days yet but I just rocked my first month in business.

I can not wait to share the amazing things that are to come with in my little company. Great things are planned for me and even greater things are already happening with in the people who have joined me on my journey. If you are ready to take the leap and start your own business.

Healthy Food .... The struggle is REAL!

Food.... the thing that makes life so wonderful ( to me at least )

I love food and let me just tell you that the struggle to find great tasting healthy recipes is HARD!

This is NOT a easy thing to do, for me at least. I know I should eat healthy food and I know I should be drinking water every single day. I want to do these things but honestly it is hard and I struggle with it. I know I am at the start of my business and the start of my journey but I am working on it every day.

So as for right now I am going to hold myself responsible for what I eat and as a mom what I feed my children. I knew this was going to be the struggle and I decided to start from .... well the start!

However that doesn't change the fact that its a sad fact that fatty totally bad for you food. Is way cheaper than healthy food. Every where I look I see all these fat junk food types of food on sale and twice as much as the healthy food is. Yet that is not even the worst part of it all. The amount of fatty really bad for you food that is pretending and marketed as " healthy " food is crazy!

My kids got so excited to go to the store with me until they seen that all the things they love are all so so bad for them. Yet the things I would love for them to eat, they just are not into at all. But how do you get your kids to eat healthy when they are so use to eating so badly?

Should I allow my kids to keep eating the things that they love? Do I start switching them for healthier foods? The questions just go on and on. Yet I don't have any answers right now as to what to do. So I guess I will do what most of us moms out there do when they need answers.

So here I am trying to find healthy recipes. Pinterest Let me just tell you right now I love it and I love being able to go on there and search for everything. However I find myself starting with searching for healthy meals for my family. But I end hours later on arts and crafts that I know I can not do because I am not a very crafty mom.

So I started something new this week and I am going to post what I am going to be making for my family for dinner every night. I don't know if it will help me, I don't know if it will work but I am trying.

It is hard when your sitting there seeing all these people eating pasta, and all these amazing things and more so because Valentines day is coming and I know the chocolate is coming.

So I am starting this journey and I know that my issue is that I need to go a head and start thinking of going shopping every  week. As I know that most of the " good for you " foods go bad with in a week of buying them.  It is not easy to eat healthy and more so when you are on a budget.

But I am going to keep fitting my struggle and I am not going to until I am figuring out how to eat healthy on a budget. With the help of Shakeology, and Pinterest I am dead set that I am going to do this and  I am going to teach my children these healthy habits even on a budget!

So Yall are not alone, I am there with you struggling and I know it sucks and its hard. I am there every step of the way and I am going to share this journey with you. Good bad and ugly I am here.


So know your not alone and your never going to be alone again. Healthy eating is harder for some than it is others but we have got this!

What is a Beach Body Business and MLM?

Military life is filled with tons of ups and down and finding a career you love is no easy task.

When Your Looking For:

* You need a career that can move with you no matter where you pcs around the world.

* Will give you the freedom to drop what ever work you are doing and parent, pcs, go to Military functions or do anything else that might come up.

* You have to be able to restart your business no matter where you end up.

* Little to set up cost as military life isn't what some think. They don't get paid a lot of money.
" Benefits " are not free. So starting a business can't cost a whole lot and schooling to find a good career that can go with the flow. That is so hard!

* Weekly pay you need to get that pay check every week.

However where and how do you find a job that can be everything you need it to be?

In the military life style there are not many options for careers. Most of us know at least a few wives who have started their own businesses. No matter if its photography, selling crafts, or the ever difficult sales business. ( Beachbody, Jewelry in candles, Thirty-One gifts, Avon, Mary Kay, doTerra etc. ) The list of MLM companies and businesses go on and on.

They are the companies that allow wives to change their world and bring in the income they want. However lets face it they have a reputation as " waste of time and money." That they are " just another scam to take you money. " You know those " pushy sales " wives who try to sell anything to anyone just to make a dollar.

For those who don't know MLM is Multi-level marketing. That means you start on the bottom rank and then with members you have " join you team." As well as sales you make with in the month. There are different systems but they are all pretty much the same from what I have learned. 

There are those people who say that these companies are all a scam and not to go any where near them. However I would like to start by pointing a few things out. When you join the Military or most companies. You start out on the bottom of the company and you have to go up the ranks. Each rank requires a certain list of things in order to move up to the next rank. The way I see it Companies who allow people to start independent businesses at home or where ever. Are no different than any other companies out there. You start at the bottom and work your way up the company latter rank by rank. The only real difference in these types of companies is that you are the boss on how quickly or slowly you go up the ranks. Not everyone is cut out for these types of businesses and not everyone should be part of them even if they are already part of them. No one enjoys a pushy annoying sales person trying way too hard to make you sale or buy things you don't want in your life. However from the research I have done I don't think all " at home " businesses are made equally at all.

The way to tell which company are right for you and your life style is all about figuring out what you want. As well as what you need in your life and when you need it. I am going to use myself as an example. For me I have never found a company I believed in, at least not fully believed in. I have looked around at many different companies and yes there are some really great companies out there.
However that has not stopped me from joining a few different companies through out my life. One of which was Beachbody.... yes I said it I joined beachbody. However the company was not right for me as I had no idea what beachbody was. Back in 2010 when I joined the company I was not a Military wife, I had no idea what beachbody was nor what it meant for me. So it lasted all of 30 days and I was over it with out a second thought or a moment of being trained by my " mentor." This is the story with so many people out there searching for a great business that they love. It's not that the company has failed those of us who don't do well in these businesses.

1.  Our mentors were not the ones for us and they did not help us in the way that they should have or that we needed.

2. We didn't start the business for the right reasons.

3. We don't take it serious as a real business.

4. We did not follow the system that we had been taught with in our company.

Those 4 reasons are the ones that are the most common of why a business does not do well. Yet the companies so often blame others for their businesses not doing very well. They say that the company was the reason they failed or because they did not want to push products on their friends and families.
I was one of these people lord knows I felt it was everyone fault but my own. Until I took a step back and decided years later that I was going to research these companies. I knew I wanted to set my own hours, that I loved to help people, to change peoples lives. I needed my business to move with me with out a lot of paper work. Being a Military wife I knew that we could get stationed any where in the world so my business couldn't take up much space. I didn't want to keep inventory at all. It had to be something that I could do in my own time.To get paid every week and not have to question when I would get my pay check. So joining one of the MLM company's seemed like the best idea and the only real option for me.

Working my way down the list of companies I found myself right back where I had once been many years ago. Looking beachbody right back in the eyes and questioning if it was the right one for me. If maybe having a new mentor would change things. So I researched and talked to actual beachbody coaches who were the best of the best. They loved what they do , they made over $100,000 a year ( they showed me the proof. ) and yet they all said the same thing. They don't sell anything at all, they don't ask anyone to buy anything. All they do is share their story, their lives each and every day on social media sites. They help others learn to do the same and the customers come to them, they don't go out nagging people to buy things or keep any inventory.

So I asked myself the question that they had asked me.

Can you work out 4 days a week?
Share your story?
Drink a shake once a day 5 days a week? ( or every day )
and hire a team who wants to do the same thing?

There is it.... the 4 questions that can change your life for the better or allow you to keep going the way you have been up until this point.

For me, The answers were yes .... to every question YES! I wanted that, I could do that. But that is not where the questions stopped for me. I had to learn more about what beach body really was.

This is what I knew about the company....

They sold at home work outs, dvds and shakes that were to replace the meals. That was it all I knew about the company from back when I was a " coach " for my 30 days.

However from a little more search and talking to my wonderful friends who were rocking it as coaches. I learned that beachbody was not selling work out dvds at all. Yes it use to be and lord knows I couldn't do that again. Beach body on demand had it all over 6000 work outs at the tip of your finger. No more dvds, no more spending $100's of dollars on a crazy amount of dvds just so you could have a choice of different work outs depending on your mood. All for a cheap price and there were actually a ton of options not a set. pay this and you get that style.

Yall that was it! I learned so much and I knew that was the one thing that honestly was stopping me from doing this. So Here I am sitting here as a beach body coach. Today is the first day of the rest of my life. I share my story with others and from there if they too want to change their world. Everyone joins for their own personal reasons. Some to make a full time income at home, to have time with their family. To travel the world and still be able to work. The list goes on and on and that is the great thing about this company. Your reasons are your own, your story is your own and your business is your own. I cant tell you where my story will end up or where I will be a month from now. But I do know that my business will go with me. My family gets to come first always and I am in control of my own future. I could do all the good I want in the world and help others make the changes they have been wanting to make.

Picking A Company To Go With and Why I picked this Company.

Since I decided that this year was my year.

I have spent way too hours and nights searching through the long list. Of work at home businesses that I could start on my own at home.Researching each company and their products so I could figure out which company would be the best to start a business with. With there being over 1400 companies currently. I know that I do not want to be one of those pushy sales people who makes everyone they know buy things. I don't really want to sale anything at all I want to work with a company that is something that most people want or need. So that people will come to me instead of my having to search for customers day and night. I have to have a weekly pay check with out a doubt.

With there being so many different types of companies out there. The only way for me to start the process was to break down the companies based on what they sale.

Make Up -

Skin Care -

Storage Stuff -

Clothes -

Wraps -

Cleaning Products -

Jewelry -

Health And Fitness -

The list just goes on and on for way too long. So those are the ones I have broken the ones I have heard of down to. I know that wraps don't work so I know that none of those companies are right for me. Along with Skin care, candles, Jewelry and make up and storage stuff. I just don't think I believe in those companies enough to bother starting a business with them. That pretty much leaves cleaning products , clothes, and health and fitness.

I know that everyone has their own story and own reason for joining and what they are looking for.
For Me I know I want:

* To get paid weekly
* Not to have to sale anything
* To work my own hours
* A business that can go with us where ever we move to
* To be able to help people live their dreams out loud.

Find a company that can give me everything I want was hard but I am blessed to have found one.

No sales at all!
They send people to me who have dreams that they want to follow
They help change peoples lives

I could go on and on about them and trust me in the following months to comes I am sure that I will.
